We’re Open Books

Meet two women with an unmatched gift of gab.

  • Alexandra is our Resident Reading Expert, legal wiz and coffee connoisseur. By day she’s a medical malpractice attorney, fiercely advocating for her clients. Once she clocks out, she is a devoted stepmother and role model to two daughters. Empowering her girls to lean into their differing personalities and embrace themselves fully, she’s a grounding voice for anyone needing to pour into themselves.

One thing you can count on? A wildly accurate dramatic retelling of the chess scene in Harry Potter. Trust us, she’s been waiting for the right platform to deliver.

  • Cecylia is our Creative Producer, concept visionary, and mocktail maven. As a former sorority girl and dance team captain, she’s a certified girl’s girl. With a career spent in mission-based marketing and two years into motherhood, she’s a caregiver by nature. When it comes to her friends, she’s full of support and admiration. Those closest to her can agree they’ve found a cheerleader for life.

The thing she’s most excited for with launch? To show her fourth grade teacher just how far “talking too much” can take you.

Alexandra’s favorite quote:

“Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.”

Michael Scott, The Office

Cecylia’s favorite quote:

“I just love bossy women. I could be around them all day. To me, bossy is not a pejorative term at all. It means somebody’s passionate and engaged and ambitious and doesn’t mind learning.”

Amy Poehler
